Nitro Caddy has designed a simple and effective way for almost anyone to confidently stop a nitro car motor. We believe it’s a much better alternative to other ways (tuning screwdriver end, rock, tip of sneaker, finger or an old toothbrush).

The Stop Stick is made out of high temperature plastic and offers two ways to stop the engine. The first way is to use the tip on the flywheel. It won’t damage the wheel as the plastic is softer than the wheel. This is the preferred way to shut an idling engine, although it can be used at high rpm.

The second use is by plugging the exhaust using the plug and hole on the side of the Stop Stick. This is the best way to stop a runaway or high reving engine.

Time is of the essence so having the Nitro Caddy Stop Stick always at your side, on a leash, is a game changer.
