Product Description:The City Block design was the first to combine pin on block. The City Blco will deliver consistant traction from loose dusty tracks to the high bite haigh traction tracks. Of AKA's line of tires, it is suggested that they are the work horse of their line, you can not go wrong with these tires.
EVO Wheel:The R-Line premounted tires from AKA feature the EVO wheels are designed to withstand much higher punishment than the normal buggy wheels on the market. Optional wheel stiffeners (34003Y or W) to help further the stiffen the wheels for even better performance.
Red Inserts: The R-Line premounts use the AKAsoft red foams. These are designed to soak up the big bumps with its fluted I.D. while still holding its shape in the turns to increase corner speed and consistency.
Tread Performance: All tread designs are computer designed and track tested. This ensures high quality for production.
Lifespan: The development of compound by Gil Losi has brought AKA to the front row of success in the 1/8 buggy tires. All tires and compounds are tested and re-tested to ensure thehighest level for our customers.
Balance: One of the main reasons for the success of AKA is their focus on perfection. They take high pride in the priority they give to the balance of the mounted tires. They manufacturer to the highest tolerances to keep the best possible alignment of all the mold components.
Assembly:All mounted tires at AKA are hand assembled and finished. All are double checked for adhesion before leaving the facility.
